Meet the Aquarius Sorcerer ? This cutie is a part of the “D&D Horoscope Cat” series that I’ve been working on. ? I wanted to start on this project because of my love for cats and Dungeons and Dragons! I just couldn’t resist making cute adventurous feline characters. Fun fact, my first tattoos are based off my own cats Cthulhu, the cultist sorcerer, and Tiamat, the sword-wielding fighter.
Aquarius are known to be friendly, inventive, unpredictable and intelligent which I felt tied closely with what Sorcerers are like in Dungeons & Dragons. Sorcerers wield enormous power within themselves which can be wildly unpredictable! ?
Aquarius is an air sign, and as such, uses his mind at every opportunity. They can be shy and quiet , but on the other hand they can be eccentric and energetic. However, in both cases, they are deep thinkers and highly intellectual people who love helping others. I drew this cat portrait based on my friend’s cat named Sorcia. (I hope I spelt that right!) Since my friend’s birthday falls in February, I wanted to dedicate this piece to her by making Sorcia represent her month. I’ve also incorporate tiny details such as Amethyst (Feb’s birth stone), air sign and a Uranus planet-themed bracelet.
